Welcome, and thank you for visiting. My name is Charlotte, and I am the founder of Charlotte's Head Spa & Retreat.
I have always been passionate about beauty, wellness and helping others feel confident and cared for. I hold a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects Hair and Media Make-up, where I achieved multiple Distinctions, and my love of the beauty industry has been with me ever since.
Alongside my beauty training, I spent over seven years working as a Healthcare Assistant. That experience strengthened my caring nature and gave me a deep understanding of how much genuine rest and personal care can mean to someone. It is something I carry with me into every treatment I give.
I grew up in Cornwall before my family settled here in Somerset, and this part of the world has been home for most of my life. As a mum of two young children, I know first-hand how easy it is to put yourself last. That is exactly what inspired me to create a space where you can properly stop, breathe, and be looked after for a change.
I trained formally in Japanese head spa therapy and hold a Practitioners Diploma in Natural Lift Facial Massage and Facial Rejuvenation. I set up Charlotte's Head Spa & Retreat because I wanted to do this on my own terms - offering something genuinely personal and unhurried, in a private space designed entirely around you.
My aim is simple. To help you leave feeling refreshed, restored and cared for, from the moment you walk through the door. I look forward to welcoming you and being part of your self-care journey.
Charlotte's Head Spa & Retreat is a purpose-built garden studio - designed to feel like a world apart from the moment you arrive. With its own entrance, calm interiors and complete privacy, every detail of the space has been chosen to help you properly switch off.
Growing up in a military family and spending years working in care has given me a deep respect for the people who serve and support others, often at great personal cost.
That's why I offer a dedicated discount to all current and former military personnel and their families. It's a small way of saying thank you to a community that gives so much.
